Immigrants have founded 44 of our country's billion-dollar startups and have boosted job growth for Americans. And five new American jobs are created for every H-1B job (NFAP 2008). Immigration is good for our economy.
But we need updated laws that welcome foreign-born entrepreneurs and immigrants educated in our universities, and provide a permanent solution for dreamers.

We only have 85,000 H-1B visas to give out each year and usually hit that cap within days. And, while our universities continue to attract the best and brightest from around the world, our laws force young talent to leave almost as soon as graduates are handed their diplomas.
With a system like this, our economy is at risk and so is innovation. Immigration reform is an opportunity Congress can’t afford to miss.
